Julia Bradbury and Cameron McNeish we are not... this will be the biggest walking challenge we have undertaken to date.
Yes it is a privilege to explore our beautiful adopted country on foot and to be fortunate enough to have the means to do so :) BUT From prior experience there will be dramas, blisters, missed buses, strange insects, cow encounters, scary dugs, bad weather, paths that show on the map but don't seem to exist in reality, paths that exist in reality but don't seem to show on the map, short daylight hours, bad weather, nae shops, closed shops, navigational hiccups, mud, bulls, bogs, bears (okay maybe not bears)... did I mention bad weather? We'd be delighted if during such glamorous moments we were motivated to push on in the knowledge that our efforts will be rewarded by raising money for two charities close to our hearts: the RSPB and Butterfly Conservation. To sponsor us please fill in our "old fashioned" but also super cool virtual sponsor form which can be found here and simply pledge what you'd like to give once we complete the full 494 miles :) Thank you so much!
